Gold Melts to Gray

the name of a song I wrote today.

We have a show this Thursday, at Emo's with the Kadane Brothers who played in this pretty cool band called Bedhead. They put out a record on Trance Syndicate that I bought... "Beheaded..." a slow burning beauty to them.

In case you haven't heard, we are putting out another album in a few weeks. That's three albums since December. That's gotta be some kind of record. And we're a good way towards another. "The great unclogging," is how I will one day refer to this phase of my life.

The album was originally created as two separate albums, but economics and timeliness made me decide to release all of the stuff at once. Plus I liked the idea of releasing an album just 3 seconds shy of the absolute limit for a compact disc. Something pleasingly contrary about it, especially in the age of the mp3.

We will be selling this album at Thursday's show. Come on out so you can grab a copy before the release date.
